So there are a few accurate bloggers who are on the record saying that Raffi will be a Maple Leaf this upcoming season.

I remember watching Raffi Torres alot on the Oilers, during their Dallas playoff years and extremely enjoying his rugged style of play. He is a sandpaper player who can score some goals....if he can stay healthy.

In the past three years Raffi has played 129 of 246 games tallying 67 pts. Torres netted 19 goals last year while on the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Raffi Torres is Torontonian and a signing with the Leafs could be a great fit. He plays the left wing, and if he can stay healthy, could find himself juggled between second and third line duties. I can see him being more of a depth signing, as Burke would put it a bottom six player, but who can play the game. I could see him playing on a line with Colby Armstrong and Christian Hanson if he ever accepts his qualifier.

I wouldnt be shocked to see this signing, and I wouldn't be disappointed to see a 2 year deal , if Raffi can manage to come physically ready to go a full season.

Lets see if this one comes together.
