So the leafs roster is shaping up and coming together . There are currently 20 players on the roster and the Leafs have approximately 8.4 million under the cap with Luke Schenn and Matt Lashoff left to re up .
Macarthur signed a 2 year deal at 3.25 per season and Bozak resigned for the same term but at 975 k per . Macarthur will stay on the second line with Kuli and Grabs but Bozak will finally take his proper spot between Army and Kadri/Lombardi/ Frattin .
Burke is creating a healthy depth for this coming season and there should be be competition for roster spots .
The possibility of a trade is still out there , some believe Komisarek could be dangled to teams looking to reach the cap floor .
If Lashoff and Schenn are signed as expected the roster should look like this :
Lupul / Connolly / Kessel
Kulelimin / Grabovski / Macarthur
Kadri or Frattin / Bozak or Lombardi / Armstrong
Rosehill or Orr / ??? / Brown
Phaneuf / Aulie
Schenn / Liles
Franson / Gunnerson
Komisarek and Lashoff
I do think there is going to be a fourth line aquired via trade or free agency , and still believe a dman will be moved out to help iron out the roster .Komisarek is the ru ored d man on the way out , and could fetch a decent return of a prospect and pick .
